- Comfortable rooms, scenic rooftop view, friendly staff. A block away from Michigan avenue, you are just a short jaunt away from shopping and other attractions.
- Yaqoob AlobaidliNovember 12, 2014The hotel is outdated and not renewed to match our expectations however is a standard hotel not amazing , I've been given a spacious 22nd floor room with terrace access which is very good
- Kayla ChildersJune 25, 2013Definitely splurge for a suite. We were upgraded to the top floor for our honeymoon, and it's absolutely stunning. Truly genuine and caring staff. They made our once in a lifetime trip so special.
- Matt CoffeyAugust 22, 2013Great location. Well insulated. Very quiet for being so close to the mile. There is public parking two doors down. About $45 per day.
- Nice, clean hotel. Staff was very friendly and attentive. WiFi is expensive and ice machines are only on every other floor. Overall this was a great room for the price paid.
- Sarah SteffesNovember 1, 2015Older hotel, big room, small bathroom. Old carpet and plain sheets without a comforter. The sky deck is beautiful, lobby is nice. Overall not bad.
- Dan Dan the bartending man is amazing! Everytime I'm in Chicago I stop by for a drink. Always a good time! Never want to stay anywhere else.
- Emilie JohnsonJanuary 17, 2012Great hotel, great location for sightseeing, shopping, dining, exploring. Perfect homebase from which to experience Chicago!

- Amazing location for a good price and clean room ... Exactly what tourist who never stays in their room needs
- AT&TSeptember 15, 2011Another great reason to stay here: AT&T Wi-Fi is one of the many amenities here for guests. It’s fast and easy to connect.
- Karen WileyJune 8, 2010Thursdays @ the inn BAR will be innDustry night. Everyone working for the Hospitality Industry will get 50% off their tab.........unbelievable deal! Come on hotel people.....meet at the inn BAR.
- Be selective about when you handle your business, there’s no fans in the bathrooms.
- Nik LevenbergJuly 11, 2013Wifi is free for Choice Privileges members, even without status. A good redemption value as well at 20K points/night.

http://ow.ly/2jP9p. Good luck! - Tony BlackburnMarch 23, 2013Be sure to enjoy an adult beverage with Jimmy and then head up to the 22nd Floor roof/balcony
- Ask for Maurese he can point you in the right direction!
- Tom DaBombSeptember 28, 2013Go to State and Erie for parking at half the price of the hotel's garage. Bit of a walk, but save a lot of money
- Cassie DullOctober 5, 2010Great location and friendly staff! We got a great deal by booking on getaroom.com. Enjoyed the cafe right next to the lobby.
- Cheryl VandersteenJune 23, 2013Bring your own alcohol and hang out on the 22nd floor rooftop terrace.
- Good location and price, which explains the lack of basic amenities in the rooms. No kettle, mini bar, and basic toiletries. They charge $10 per parcel to receive deliveries 👎
- Good service, decent rooms, and a great location. And there's a patio on the 22nd floor (the top). What's not to like?
- Niki FornerMay 2, 2014Rooms are small, outdated and feel unclean. Walls are paper thin. I would recommend another option when staying in Chicago.
- Kokua HJuly 27, 2010You must check out the rooftop patio on the 22nd floor. Have a cocktail and enjoy the spectacular city views!
- Emily S.March 8, 2020Overall fine for a cheap hotel room. However, the 22nd floor is slanted/uneven which is a little scary.
- Marc St.PierreDecember 16, 2011This is a really nice hotel! Do not let the foursquare "motel" classification mislead you!
- Jeff CaseyMay 22, 2011Don't be fooled into expecting any free drink. The only available free drink is an absolute sweet tea...
- Feel free to bring your own booze to the 22nd-floor rooftop patio and then watch all the crazy car traffic below
- Decently priced hotel & a great location just a block away from Michigan Avenue.
- Nik LevenbergJuly 15, 2013The rooftop patio never closes, in spite of posted hours. Bring a drink and hang out - a great spot. Fantastic staff here as well. Funky physical plant, but the staff more than make up for it.
- Karyn TanisFebruary 23, 2012Bathrooms are very small but shower was very hot with decent water pressure. Alarm clock had iPod docking station.
- ElaineDecember 1, 2013AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL CAUSE. THIS HOTEL IS SHIT, BUT THEIR SERVICE IS WORST ESPECIALLY AT THE FRONT DESK!!! They are SO RUDE!!!
- I’m desperate need of remodeling...the lobby is misleading...
- Kerry BeckMay 27, 2013Great location in the heart of the city, but do not expect the customary conveniences. Bring your own wifi hotspot as this hotel provides the service for an immodest fee of $14.95 per day.
