- EmmaJanuary 11, 2016The service is really good, we had diner their -key lime pie is to die for- everything was delicious, including beers. We watched a jazz concert at the same time, great experience!
- Sarah ColvinApril 30, 2012I like the room, I like the food, I like the musicians, I like Mondays there a lot. The staff has a good vibe. The table seating is tight and communal(like). Ask to sit on the perimeter. Better views.
- Paula LeeFebruary 16, 2015Arrive early for first dibs on seats and to give yourself enough time to order and eat before the show. Pass on the brisket, order the shrimp and grits with a side of spicy broccoli
- IsaMarch 13, 2017Authentic jazz bar with good live music, a must for jazz lovers! Have the greens salad, brisket, ribs, and key lime pie (3 courses=prix fixe). Have the milk punch, too. They play 2 sets ($30 cover/P).
- Zachary MosesDecember 28, 2012Go early to get good table and eat before music. Ribs are amazing and bourbon ice cream w the apple dessert is godly and so is the bread pudding (i believe). Best service too!
- Dikran NernekianMarch 17, 2017I've been going there for years, great music, great food. Music is still great, but the food has gone down the drain. They were out of tea, sugar, fish, potatoes... and burgers were carbonized.
- Mark HeyertJanuary 2, 2016Sound is good but sit close for best view. Desserts are recommended. Butterscotch pudding be the key lime pie are both delicious.
- JPAugust 27, 2015You come here for the Jazz, you come back because of the BBQ. Since they share kitchens with Blue Smoke this place is a delight. Try everything

- NY WaterwayAugust 7, 2012There's never an off night at the Jazz Standard. From top-notch musicians, to lesser-known groups, right down to the food and service, this sleek venue is a definite pick for a riveting evening out.
- Christin GabrielMarch 12, 2017Fantastic food, service, and whiskey selection. Plus, the music (Billy Hart Quartet) was out of this world!
- Polina WeitzSeptember 28, 2018Great spot for live jazz, in a calm and comfortable environment. The food and drinks were ok, but I've had better Southern food elsewhere. Come for the music (30$ cover), and not for the food.
- DominikMarch 13, 2017Good jazz music, good service, good food, good beer, good cocktails. Great place for jazz lovers.
- Joshua KinbergApril 28, 2013Incredible jazz. One of the best venues in NYC. Fantastic menu with an excellent selection of Bourbons.

- Earl Belcher JrJune 30, 2015Live jazz (Mingus Monday 7:30 set) plus stellar Blue Smoke BBQ? Damn good night and with good company too.
- Be BopFebruary 9, 2018If you're vegetarian, don't show up hungry. The only veg offering is a side salad. That's okay; no one owes me a meal. But I thought you should know.
- Michael Steven WilliamsJune 30, 2016Amazing spot. Great ambiance. Food was delicious. Awesome acoustics! Great time!
- Paul SanwaldMay 2, 2015Salt and pepper ribs are the best. Strawberry salad with smoked goat cheese is also awesome

- CJMay 31, 2011The Texas Salt and Pepper Ribs are the best I've ever had! The other 2 kinds they have are good but the Salt and Pepper ones are the best!
- Tim TayshunAugust 30, 2017Amazing food, sensational service and excellent music. Overall fantastic place!
- Bartek GórnyMay 28, 2018Amazingly good music. Cool venue. Horrible service. We ordered their BBQ chicken and it was served cold. We asked the staff to try again and the second serving was also cold. The tea was the same.
- Christophe FourleignieSeptember 20, 2012Classic and without surprise jazz place, with restaurant Blue Smoke at the same adress
- dennisApril 29, 2016good music but the ribs are definitly NOT the best in town. take something else! waiters seems to be bored.
- Keith Vander LeestMarch 15, 2011Saw Jason Moran here on the 26th, very cool place, go to the early show and you can meet the musicians
- Bryon PhelpsAugust 25, 2013Been a very long time since my last show here, back in '84, place hasn't lost it's flair. Doesn't hurt with acts like Gregory Porter.
- Amanda MotelDecember 22, 2010Jazz and a big 'ol plate of finger-lickin' ribs. An unexpected but delightful pair.
- Patricia BradbyMarch 25, 2011The pulled pork plate is yummy but skip the beans and get a side of collard greens instead. Much yummier.
