It’s open 24 hours. Yeah, it’s Walgreens, yeah, it’s expensive….but if it’s open at 3am when you need things, it works.
Always interesting. Racine has lots of history. Underground Railroad, Civil War, Mary Todd Lincoln, and the Racine Belles. And who would think you would find an Egyptian mummy in southeast Wisconsin?
Definitely worth a visit. Beautiful lighthouse with a gorgeous view of Lake Michigan. Have a seat on a bench and just take in the view and relax.
Seven Bridges Trail is a must. Serene and beautiful walk down to Lake Michigan and the beach. Just a heads up….lots of stairs.
Good custard….which is saying a lot in Wisconsin. Worth a stop. Always busy.

Had a delicious entree. Chicken avocado cauliflower-hummus pita tostada and a side of garlic mushrooms. Everything was wonderful and tasty.
It's a Mini-Target, so don't expect to find everything that a regular Target has....but they do have clothing, drug/beauty, home goods, a small electronics section, and toys. And a small food section.
It's a Circle K. Whatever you need on the go....gas, water, a soda, aspirin.....they will have it. Relatively close to Cardinals and Coyotes games.
Very nice and clean auto repair shop. Staff seemed friendly and explained everything in detail. Lots of free candy and cold soda and bottled water in the small waiting area. Very nice touch.
Yes, yes, yes, and yes. If you have never had a Wisconsin State Fair cream puff, you have no idea what you are missing. Seriously.
Love the Wisconsin State Fair, love the State Fair Park. One of the best parts of Wisconsin in the summertime.
If you have to go in here, take a look around. Some cool Art Deco stuff going on. And if you have family history in the area, the Register of Deeds office is very cool to do research in.
It's a Walmart. Like every other Walmart in America. Is that good or bad? Up to you to decide.
It's a Goodwill. Browse other people's junk and maybe find a treasure. It's just stuff thrown everywhere, so take your time, and dig through it all.
Cheap, but delicious, burgers. Great root beer. Bustling, little tiny place.....but so worth it. Highly recommended.
Great little theatre, very comfortable reclining seats.Nice concession stand in a lobby with an old fashioned train station kind of feel to it. Check out all the photos of classic movie stars, too!!!
Tiny little place that serves some great ice cream. Some "out there" flavors but the tame usual ones too. Banana toffee pudding ice cream was delicious.
Delicious enchiladas, great presentation, nice staff, and red cream soda on the soda fountain!!!! The red cream soda sealed the deal.
Great little neighborhood library. Get a Phoenix library card and go explore the world through books. Just check the hours before you go.
