Jess L: Get there early for more seating and shorter lines.

Jess L: Really creamy ice cream - loved the coffee crunch.

Jess L: Everything is delicious. Pork? Amazing. Brisket? Perfect. Sides? Glorious (especially the cole slaw and potato salad). Cornbread? Fantastic. The line is long but it's worth it.

Jess L: Great during the week when it's less crowded.

Jess L: Love the Hanabi and the Brussels sprouts.

Jess L: Lapperts is hands down some of the best ice cream I've had anywhere. Wonderful flavors - both traditional and not - and oh so creamy.

Jess L: True Hawaiian shave ice!

Jess L: Quiet beach great for kids, digging sandcastle as, and relaxing away from the crowds.

Jess L: Always stop here after the airport for delicious fish tacos and coconut shrimp.

Jess L: Great burgers and milk shakes.

Jess L: So much fun for all ages. Love the kiddie pool with the ship and all the water slides.

Jess L: Make your own pancakes with a griddle in the table. Such a great idea and a blast with kids.

Jess L: Love the fish tacos. Remember it's cash only! Line can get real long.

Jess L: There's a great upstairs space that can be rented out for parties.

Jess L: Fantastic for breakfast.

Jess L: Start your home to Lands End from here.

Jess L: Get the audio tour. It's fascinating.

Jess L: I love going up to the roof under the bridge and enjoying the view.

Jess L: The boar sausage is my favorite.

Jess L: Come here on a cool day - it's warm inside! Fun place to wander, I always see something new.

Jess L: No trip to the Academy is complete without saying hi to Claude.

Jess L: Head up the tower any time the museum is open for a gorgeous 369 degree view of SF, FOR FREE.
