http://ow.ly/8QjDQ - Nicole G.May 9, 2010One of the best selections of beer I've seen in a while. I highly recommend the Sixpoint Guerilla Warfare Coffee Porter or the Palm Amber Ale.
- Harrison JohnsonMarch 1, 2015Close to mcsorelys, amex / cash only, if you like brick and beer it's great

http://bit.ly/1mRHXY6 - GadlingSeptember 7, 2010Don't be afraid of the basement feel. Fact is, they have some kick-ass brews on tap down there, and if you don't head down, you'll never know. -WV
- Go to Jimmy's No. 43 and get a beer, or three, on tap. Though don't stop at the beer, the menu has an impressive selection of local food, I recommend the cheese plate
- The new beer brunch is amazing - both sweet and savory options.
- Super low key place with a fantastic beer selection. Also sports a good food menu
- NathanMarch 4, 2012if you like dark and/or hoppy beers try the clown shoes hoppy feet 1.5 imperial black ipa.
- Lisa WFebruary 20, 2013Decent craft beer list. Music was a weird mix and service was a bit curt. Cramped space too. Not bad if in the neighborhood, but nothing to go out of your way for.
- The bread pudding here is an an out of this world experience. The beer selection is pretty decent too.
- aztec economySeptember 16, 2010we did 2 of the Binge Festivals here. Intimate back-room space. terrific food. and Jimmy the owner is awesome.
- Carmen da SilvaJanuary 27, 2011Drink grrrrreat beers in a cozy basement space (then stop by the Pomme Frites stand around the corner)
- Cheapeats IncSeptember 24, 2011A divey bar with a HUGE beer menu that serves Organic, Local, Sustainable cooking.
- Awesome beer, great local eats and Jimmy is a doll to boot. Always a great time to be had.
- Must must must must cop some pork belly if you are at Jimmy's No. 43.
- Don't miss the chorizo from the puffery or the duck leg confit!
- Vanessa Ramirez BowneJune 12, 2011Try the cask beer. Scary name (engine oil? Really?) but goes down quite smoothly. Delicious.
- Ask to speak to Jimmy. As much personality as the place has on its own, it has twice as much once you've met the man behind it.
- Renata KDecember 11, 2010Cool bartender, free bag of Utz pretzels. (Although fair warning, they're expired & a bit stale)!
- Steve JacobsOctober 20, 2010Requires patience. Service is slow, but food and drink are both good and inexpensive, so worth it on balance.
