1. Oakland International Airport (OAK)
John Cassillo: Easy in and out, and a quick BART ride to SF. Much easier than flying into SFO.
2. La Trappe
3. Golden Boy Pizza
John Cassillo: Cash only, but you're getting some great Sicilian slices for the trouble.
4. Cellarmaker Brewing Company
5. Roam Artisan Burgers
John Cassillo: Correction from a previous burger tip: THIS is the best burger in SF. Try the bison tejano. It's amazing.
6. Teeth
John Cassillo: Wing Wednesday is packed, but can't go wrong with 25-cent pricing. Best wings I've had on the West Coast.
7. The Rockefeller

8. Rabano
John Cassillo: Affordable, fresh and quick food. Try out the Super Bowls!
9. Allegro Romano
10. Dinosaur Bar-B-Que
11. Hatchet Hall
John Cassillo: Corn bread is fantastic. Game hen is also delicious, and you can't go wrong with the bourbon list. Service also phenomenal.
12. Turquoise Cafe
John Cassillo: Great dinner spot in South Redondo Beach. Baba Ganoush is top-notch.
13. Fritto Misto Italian Cafe
John Cassillo: Food's always great, even if service isn't sometimes. Try the sweet potato ravioli. Delicious stuff!
14. Angelo's Italian Deli
John Cassillo: Real Italian subs, and excellent service. Not many seats, but try to pop in if you're in Seal Beach.
15. Dean & DeLuca
16. Twomey Cellars
17. Lava Vine Tasting Room
18. Crystal's Corner
19. Cooperage Brewing Company
20. Alpine Pedal Path
John Cassillo: Relaxing hike around the lake. Dog-friendly as well. Get there early before it's too hot, though.
21. Public School 310
John Cassillo: Quality local craft beer selection. Best to get food so you can grab a table since bar space is limited.
22. Badmaash
John Cassillo: Try out the Chicken Tikka Poutine! It's a cool fusion Indian place, and good for lunch.
23. Barbara's at the Brewery
John Cassillo: Cool spot that's not easy to stumble into. But fantastic local beer selection and excellent service.
24. Congregation Ale House
John Cassillo: If Beachwood's crowded, or you're just looking for beers, there are some great options on tap at Congregation. Covered patio too, if you need it.
25. Santa Monica Brew Works

26. Crispo
