The soya sauce chicken noodle tastes better than their competitor down the road, with a more herbal flavour. The wanton/dumplings are tastier too, with a tinge of mushrooms!

The name of the stall speaks for itself. Try this if you like wanton noodles the "old school" way. The combination of chilli sauce, oil and soya sauce hits the spot for me.
There are 2 popular wanton mee stalls in this hawker centre but I personally prefer this. The noodle stands out here; very springy, every bite is so yummy! Made my 40 minutes queue time well worth it.

I basically grew up eating their wanton mee from their lorong 13 days till now. Still remains my favorite wanton noodle stall of all time, the taste is one of a kind.
For me, this is the best fried hokkien mee in Singapore. The delicious broth stands out, although portion wise can be more generous.
This chili has a interesting colour and consistency. Also has an amazing ability to swell (in a spicy way) in your mouth. Think twice before adding more.

The Lor Mee here is loaded. There is a whole lot of "Liao" (ingredients) lurking under that dark sauce.
The laksa cauldron here is charcoal-fired. In today's day and age, this is old school. I don't know about you but I'd bet that the extra yumminess in their laksa traces its way back here ...
Wantan mee: 1st impression was d Interesting sweetish sauce. Her noodles was 'q' (as expected) & her wantan (pork dumpling) had generously fillings. Definitely 1 of top stalls in SG :-)
Delicious char kway teow, always long queue. Easily in my list of top 5 char kway teow stalls in Singapore.
The queue can be quite insane, but their Hokkien Mee makes it worthwhile for queuing up. They use Charcoal as a method to cook, that's why their Mee has that smoky fragrance. Very unique taste.

One of the better bah chor mee. For the big size portion, u get the soup with ingredients in a separate bowl. With egg. Be warned that dining there during noon is a hot experience.
Superb, with excellent tasting tau pok cooked in curry, but the chicken is cooked separately hence isn't quite as tasty. All in all, highly recommended.
A good alternative to Xin Mei Xiang if u wanna skip the long queue. Taste is quite similar, although not as good. Also, they are very generous in terms of the portion.

Soup was so tasty & flavorful that i couldn't resist finishing the whole bowl, despite not really being a fan of prawn noodle soup.
Ask for a 3 dollar bowl if u are from any army camp or a school student, the friendly owners gives u a bowl as high as a bowl of ice kachang. marvelous fishballs, never get tired or sick of it.
If you're a beef brisket lover try his beef brisket noodle. It's tender and tasty. Just as good as his soya sauce chicken. Pay $4 for more brisket.
Besides their signature claypot rice, the duck bee hoon is also a must-try dish. The gravy is excellent.

The Hokkien Mee is nice! Even raining days also will walk over all the way from Tiong Bahru Plaza just to eat the Hokkien Mee.
Delicious prawn mee, soup is very tasty. Dabao a plate of wu xiang from the opposite coffeshop too (Lao Zhong Zhong) as a side dish, best combination.

Get their signature kolo mee set. Portion was generous, noodles were 'q' and the pork ribs were very tender and chewy. Definitely worth queueing for.
Worth the long wait; delicious bak chor mee, soup is excellent. I feel it is even better than the famous ones at bedok 85.
Be prepared to queue and be rewarded for your patience with a delicious bowl of lor mee that i rate as 1 of the best in Singapore.

Verdict on the truffle wanton mee: Not bad, but not worth $6. That said, the noodles were springy, char siew & wantons tasty. Their normal wanton mee wud probably taste fine even w/o the truffle oil.

The queue moves slowly but that's because the sisters take the time and effort to prepare the noodles properly and thoroughly. Well worth it.
