- Fiona LimDecember 4, 2014Absolutely fresh sashimi, tempura prawn was fried to perfection, doesn't taste oily. Most importantly, friendliest and top class customer service. Would definitely return albeit price is a lil steep:)Upvoted 4 weeks ago
- Kate NgOctober 1, 2013Brilliant fresh sashimi, and they give you a selection right at the start to choose from. Sets are also amazing, I had the soba & tendon set and enjoyed it very much!
- Chris LeeMarch 11, 2018Unagi is superb. Grill to perfection and with a slight brush of the sauce. Definitely a quality meal. Sashimi is fresh and thick too.
- Wen YiJune 15, 2014One set sushi is 8 pieces:D but you can ask them to serve half Kampachi Maki (4pieces) and any other sushi(4 pieces) ๐๐ฃ๐ฃ
- Rachel LeeMay 28, 2013Beautiful interior. Great service. Food is good. Totally a great place to come for special occasions .price is good as food quality is the best!^^
- M N AminNovember 21, 2014Quite disappointing compared to the old Equatorial Hotel's Kampachi. Good: beef roll, soft shell crab hand roll, grilled salmon. Even basic stuff eg salmon sashimi, clam miso soup were just average
- EricaSeptember 1, 2013Worth having their Sunday lunch buffet tat start frm 12pm-2.30pm. U have to make reservation one month in advance cos they r always fully booked!!
- WorldbizJanuary 5, 2016Pricey menu but vy good fresh & tasty dishes esp sashimi. Good service. Peanut mochi ๐๐ป๐๐ป๐๐ป
- Sally CheeSeptember 6, 2019Overall are good . Taste are superb ! Portion shrunk as compared to last time . Kindara fish is very thinly slice cost RM92
- Andy LeeJune 15, 2013Fresh sashimi thickly cut... reasonable price for the generous portion & great service! Will be back for more..
- Alicia OhMay 6, 2015The sashimi at the lunch buffet wasn't as good as expected but the spread of food was decent. I enjoyed the sukiyaki and the teppanyaki.
- Kampachi is finally in PJ! Check out the cool seating pods in the bar section.
- Marissa GanMay 26, 2013Definitely not the cheapest around town but I am always going back to Kampachi for the great service!
- ZanetJuly 24, 2019Has a set. Miso was plain, eel lukewarm, sashimi great, sushi not at all. Not the quality i would expect for this price, sorry.
- Adrian FongOctober 11, 2020I had the Sunday buffet. The food was sub par. Hot food came late and cold. Sashimi slices are tiny. Definitely not worth the RM148 per pax. Can skip or try the equatorial Kampachi
- Food is way below expectations given the price that is being charged. The range of fresh produce direct from Tsukiji is limited. The piece of fish on the sushi is small. Disappointed.
- ShinAugust 26, 2014Food over price and RIDICULOUS !!!... with the price im paying I could get the same quality with cheaper price in other premium japanese restaurant.
- Sookie LimJanuary 26, 2016The bentos are not up to the standard though, kinda disappointed it it, but the dessert is fine, especially the Mochi
- AiChing SanNovember 4, 2013This was definitely a let down. Doesn't live up to their name. Staff are really into clearing the table which is a bit off putting. Better off eating at Rakuzen the food is better there
- Jo-an LimJuly 21, 2013Food quality was mediocre as compared to other premium Jap restaurants, kinda disappointed.. but their ambience is 7 out of 10. That's d price you're paying for!
- Douglas VAugust 6, 2016Mediocre food, OTT pricey, though the ambience was good but unfortunately air is not edible.
