- Carm PAugust 23, 2013Great service. Great food. Local beer. Loves the pulled buffalo chicken pulled pork. Good food all around. If your server tells you something is good, trust. Dessert was amazing! Pot de creme.
- The brisket is better than the pork, but the collard greens are my favorite. While this place is great for dinner, it's probably one of my favorite brunch spots w/ Intelligentsia Coffee in DC
- Behrad EatsFebruary 15, 2016The Chicken Little burger is not for the weak: ground Angus chuck combined with pastrami, topped with pulled pork, bacon, peppered ham, & a fried egg!
- Aubri O'ConnorApril 13, 2013The chef was super kind and talked out all the food prep with me to see if my pepper allergy would be a problem (it was). It smelled awesome, though! And they were very kind and helpful.
- Steve CraigJuly 4, 2015Everything we tried was phenomenal. Hair of the hog was excellent, veg and egg was yummy, and side of Jonny cakes with their fresh pear sauce rocked!
- Bitches Who BrunchJanuary 11, 2014The Bitches Say: B+. Kangaroo Boxing Club was great, and would have been an A, but the Marys sent some running for the loo. Awarded with the Best Hole in the Wall and Best Bacon awards of 2013!
- Washington PostMarch 13, 2013Bacon gorgonzola mac n' cheese is the dish to get. They achieve creamy and crunchy with house-smoked bacon blended into a slightly sharp gorgonzola and then scattered across pasta. Read more
- A VickieOctober 24, 2016One of the best Reubens I've had in DC. BBQ pulled pork sandwich is great too. And the daily biscuits at brunch
- Nicolas PrattJuly 17, 2013Some of the best BBQ in the city. Great craft beer selection. It's tiny, so plan on putting your name down and having a drink beforehand.
- Alex OrrJune 13, 2014If I lived closer I would be here all the time. The best pulled pork in DC and perfect neighborhood bar atmosphere.
- Washington PostMarch 11, 2013Pulled pork is by far their biggest hit, but don't overlook the burgers. The Costanza combines ground beef with smoked pastrami, while the Vandelay enhances fresh ground Angus with smoked Angus. Read more
- When KBC says something is "special" …. BELIEVE THEM. Holy F'in God, this jerk goat is one of the best things I've ever put in my mouth.
- Usually love the staff when we've eaten here but watch out for the bartender! Talk about making people feel uncomfortable! More than one patron told me they were "scared" to order a drink last night!
- Melissa MonsalveNovember 1, 2015The food is definitely delicious, but their service can be lacking at times during brunch. Still worth the brisket and Johnny cakes!
- You really can't go wrong with any of the food here....and best spot for U of M and Detroit Lions games. Mitten bar
- Cortney DaleSeptember 30, 2012The stuffed French toast at brunch is amazing. So is the caramelized bacon. A++ brunch. My favorite in this city so far.
- Tasting TableJuly 19, 2012Try what may be our favorite dish-- the meat board, which includes pulled pork, pastrami, Hatch chicken sausage and a blueberry-habanero salsa: Read more
- C SGFebruary 21, 2016Amazing BBQ but better sides: Brussel sprouts, Johnny Cakes and caramelized bacon 💯
- Michael StarrSeptember 1, 2014Amazingly tender brisket, super flavorful pulled pork, and the pulled duck is heaven.
- Becca SteeleNovember 10, 2012Get the four horseman of the porkocalypse. Four kinds of pork, a fried egg, and a hint of maple syrup does not disappoint!
- John MichaelFebruary 21, 2013Gingersnap cookie dessert is amazing. They may be $2 a cookie but worth every penny. Order several
- An amazing restaurant! Brunch was delicious and our bar tender Adam is great! A must visit.
- Their pastrami is heavenly. Bacon gorgonzola Mac and cheese is amazing too.
- Mark MinerviniMay 27, 2016It's OK (at best) for a quick bite. We had the BBQ ribs and pulled pork and it was meh. They do have outside dinning which is a plus but overall, have to say pass on this place.
- Brionne GriffinSeptember 21, 2014Johnny Cakes and brisket are the best. Biscuits are overcooked and grody.
- Mackenzie FultonNovember 22, 2012Hippest juke box in all of DC. Get the BBQ fries and listen to some XX or Daft Punk.
- Washington PostFebruary 28, 2013Get the Three Little Pigs: Pulled pork, slices of Virginia ham and house-cured bacon on a bun. Read more
- Adam HuttonApril 21, 2013Get the fkit bucket and the mac and cheese. Dump said mac and cheese in the former. Ftw
- Love VanaAugust 11, 2013Great food. Ordered to go during Brunch, want to give the food a chance fresh. :-)
- The pastrami is rigoddamndiculous! Do yourself a favor and try the Reuben. Unreal.
- Divya MoolchandaniOctober 22, 2013If you're looking to satisfy a "I grew up in the South and miss BBQ" craving, this place didn't get it done for me. Drinks were watered down too
- Ed MartinSeptember 29, 2012i am staring at simple n limes but they have no sour mix? tip if your drink has sour mix sub simple n limes n self squeeze i guess.
- Adam WillisMarch 26, 2015Whole party must be present before they'll attempt to seat you. Consider this your early warning.
- Alex ShashloDecember 15, 2013Had high hopes but the service was atrocious. The hostess seated people behind us in line before us and completely ignored our party. The food is good but they clearly don't care about you.
- Elizabeth PriceMarch 25, 2013Maybe we came on an offnight, but the pastrami was dry! The brisket, on the other hand, was INCREDIBLE. DO IT.
