- Melinda JaniszewskiOctober 16, 2012Everything was AMAZING! Edamame, Mojito, the large Jo MO, Seared Scallops, Wagyu skewer, Seared sushi salmon, Yakitori, Sencha Tea and the dessert platter for two. All really great! Got free Saki 2!
- Matthew ListroDecember 14, 2014Had a fantastic dinner last night, very pleasantly surprised. I'm picky and rarely wanna go back to a place but would go for lunch today for the salmon sushi if I could--like no salmon I've ever had.
- TomfooleryNovember 30, 2014Sweet range of Sake (get it warm if you can, I think it tastes better). The dishes are great too, the Wagyu tataki is superb and it's always good to get some Edamame for snacking
- SamJuly 5, 2022Delicious, totally recommend the sashimi deluxe - so so fresh. Also the ceviche taco. Izabana cocktail is also a winner.
- Bianca GugelminAugust 18, 2012Incredible japanese restaurant, one of the best I've tried in Melb. Amazing "open sushi", there's one that comes in a little pot that is delicious. Get inspired and try the different sake, worth it!
- the most awesome japanese food in Melbourne with great service to boot! Go for the omakase menu if you want to have a taste of everything. You won't be disappointed.
- Melinda JaniszewskiOctober 16, 2012The dessert for two was good the cheesecakes was our favorite. When we come back next time we are getting cheesecake for sure :)
- zzapNovember 25, 2012The good: Lovely food, lovely staff, lovely decor, lovely alcohol selection, lovely bathrooms. The bad: SLOW SERVICE, top 40s music, only a small selection of sashimi & sushi.
- JNovember 4, 2022Crab & grill fried rice is great, and sashimi is fresh. But lobster bao is a bit bland and underwhelming when it costs the same as the fried rice.
- Adrianous MaximouseOctober 25, 2015Tapas style Japanese food at a decent price. Delicious. Pork belly pie in the special sauce is great
- andrewpascoeFebruary 3, 2012Try the sake flights: 3 different types of sake (with some notes about their flavours/characteristics). Variety and better value than individual glasses.
- Be sure to chum up the sommelier to try some truly amazing sake's.
- andrewpascoeFebruary 3, 2012Absolutely agree on the pork belly pie - it is awesome. One serve could do two people, just to get a taste.
- andrewpascoeFebruary 5, 2012Tasty food, but if you are after a Japanese restaurant purely for a big range of sushi and sashimi this place probably isn't what you're after
- everguideAugust 30, 2011Pork belly pie. Pork belly pie. Pork belly pie. Get the hint? It's amazetown.
