- Jennifer WangJune 9, 2013great quality food (ordered cow's heart appetizer, mixed seafood ceviche, and duck) & good service (complimentary samples of ceviches wrapped in a wonton-like skin and fried)!
- La CanelaApril 18, 2012Give it a try. Inca Kola & Chicha Morada are two typical Peruvian drinks. If you don't like them you can always try a tropical juice, such as Mango Juice, Pineapple juice or the Passion Fruit Juice.
- Are 2 people or more? Get the fried calamary, the palta, and the "anticuchos" and then share a wonderful lamb shank as a main course. Finish it with one of their delicious desserts!!! ;)
- This place is seriously absolutely AMAZING. Try their ceviche, yuccas con huancaina, calamarcitos, lomo saltado...and for desert the lucuma mousse and quinoa creme brûlée...perfection!
- La CanelaApril 18, 2012Did you know? We have a smaller plate of Ceviche. Try the Mini Ceviche version if you don't think you can with the regular one.
- Washington PostOctober 12, 2011** stars in Tom Sietsema's Fall Dining Guide 2011. ("The more I dine at La Canela, the more I want to go to Peru," writes Tom.)

- Ari SchulerApril 30, 2014Make a reservation- 30-45 minute waits on weeknights and Sunday. Good is delicious but the service slow.
- Tatum VayavanandaMarch 9, 2010Great place to go and grab some wine and share amazing appetizers. Had the Mariscos and it was great; Just like a paella, but not.
- Get the "Tres Leches" dessert... Looks great, tastes better!
- Gris DaullJune 30, 2011Worst service ever. Good food, but it took over 15 minutes just to get someone to bring us water.
