- My local Thai place is great value and authentic. After 6pm special, $20 for a drink, two appetizers, an entree and an ice cream dessert. Have a light lunch and hit it!
- gia jordanDecember 30, 2013The basil udon soup is a must, and the plush interior with lighted ceiling height tree branches makes for beautiful dining or waiting for the bar at this small, uncrowded gem.
- Brittany BeisnerDecember 11, 2019Used to live around the corner and even when I moved to the upper west side, I came back to Lantern because it’s that good. The drunken noodles are the bestttt
- Ramona LopezSeptember 27, 2015BEWARE RECEIVING A PLATE SERVED WITH LARGE STEEL WIRE METAL SCOURING SCRUBBER PIECES IN YOUR MEAL. I had lunch here on 09/25/15 & ordered pad thai to find a large coiled 4" STEEL WIRE in my mouth.
- Dasha KozhemyakinaNovember 24, 2014Wonderful place. Good prices, excellent service, cosy interior. Perfect for romantic dinner. 20$ dinner box is a real deal
- KarenDecember 24, 2015The food is good, but the service could use some improvement. Menu recommendation: the curry puffs 👌. Their 3-appetizers-as-an-entree offer is awesome.
- Rasheda EdnessFebruary 11, 2016I actually have enjoyed the calamari; crispy like I want, steam dumplings, all types of fried rice BUT the customer service is sometimes bad.
- Carrie MacJanuary 18, 2012For 10% off for first check in. Also switched my order like other tips suggested and got udon noodles with my Pad Thai. I'd come back for sure as its pretty reasonable.
- Honghui YuOctober 27, 2014Do NOT come here for brunch. It may be cheap but it does not taste good. Their actual Thai offerings however are quite delicious, though they can be pretty heavy handed with the soy sauce.
- Mike 🌟tsevNovember 26, 2011This place is awesome. Try the pad thai or the spare ribs. The price is right. Ps use the girls bathroom lol, it's way nicer (and locks).
- Anthony PopeoNovember 18, 2017Good cocktails and food. Service is a little slow but we didn’t wait for a seat.
- Get the fried rices over fried noodles. Happy hour 4-6pm with buy 1 get 1 free special (no sharing). Get the Lantern's Lemonade!
- Red curry with chicken is awesome. Also really enjoy the rangoon appetizer.
- AngelaMarch 8, 2015Prices are great! Can't go wrong with the Drunken Noodles. Beware: servers incredibly rude.
- Dig the decor! Not sure what to order? Solid choices: Tom Kha Soup, Chicken Sa-Tae, or Crispy Calamari!
- Carolyn TJanuary 18, 2012Great pad see ew, but don't get calamari. Buy one-get one drafts on Tuesdays.
- sheila stainbackSeptember 2, 2011Elegant drinks and a gentle atmosphere--I personally love their duck entree.
- Kevin LeathersJuly 7, 2010Try the Pad Thai with Udon Noodles instead of regular noodles. Flavor and texture!
- whoever designed the bathroom sink here needs to design my future home
- Chris BruceMarch 15, 2015Pad Thai was very meh - ok if you need a quick meal, but don't set your expectations too high
- Jason ValdinaMarch 9, 2010Don't take no for an answer...mix things up despite what the menu says; the peeps at Lantern will likely do it for you.
- @kvedd can be seen drinking icy cocktails on Tuesday nights
- Sanfra DocApril 13, 2011Not recommend to dine-in for lunch, good food but long wait though :-( Only if you don't have to work on that day!!
