Appetizer? Pork belly. Beyond delicious. Entree? Mushroom & duck fat pizza. Tasty. Dessert? Caramel & pecan bread pudding. Too good. Best part was the sangria -- strong & sour, just the way I like it.
Better than anticipated. Clam pizza yum, bone marrow, pretty good. No, no to the ox meatballs. Lovely indoor and patio. They tell me they have happy hour as well. Nice addition to the neighborhood.
Everything we tried was great. Every dish had an interesting mix of ingredients. Try the pork belly lentils and the Merguez spicy lamb sausage. You won't be disappointed.
Get the pork shoulder pizza/flatbread with shishito peppers, the lamb shank, pork short ribs, and wild boar albondigas (meatballs). For dessert, bread pudding and beignets!
The papparadelle with squid, chorizo, saffron, and squash is so good that I just took a break from eating it to write this. Not because I had to share, but because I needed a moment.
