Lewis T: What a delight to find this place on a Sunday evening. Had the cod fritters, veal cheek stew and the slow cooked pork neck which was absolutely devine. Good value too and good service.

Lewis T: The candy store is opposite. Screens aren't the biggest if you're used to multiplex cinemas and the seating is stadium-type. However shows English language films without dubbing. €9 per seat.

Scandinavian Restaurant · Östra Katarina · 20 tips and reviews
Lewis T: Germanic theme with Swedish twist and some specialties like the herring starter which exceeded expectations. Pork knuckle is enough for 2 people. Food came out much quicker than expected.
Burger Joint · Östra Katarina · 40 tips and reviews
Lewis T: American themed burger joint but with European size portions! The fried chicken burger was nice, the fries were great - crunchy and seasoned well. Get the fries with cheese and chillies!
Lewis T: Yes there is most likely a queue outside, but it is definitely worth it. The salted caramel cake and doughnuts are truly amazing. The kanelbullens (cinnamon bun) are also divine.

Lewis T: Decent place just off the Jemaa with better prices. Chicken & veg tagine was very good, as was meatballs. Bread felt a bit stale. Yoghurt with fruits for dessert was ace.
Lewis T: Very very nice food, gorgeous flavours and good service. Had the trio duck dosa to start which was good. The Madras chicken curry and fish tikka were amazing. The venison less so - avoid.
Lewis T: Wow what delicious food! Go for the Armenian options like the kibbe and fatteh. Reasonable prices but the quality and freshness is unmatched locally. Must visit.
Lewis T: Take a seat and be welcomed in by the host, and watch as the team fill your table. Then he'll shout your orders to the kitchen! Great local food with changing daily specials. Awesome prices.
Lewis T: Came here after a day trip to Baalbek and Anjar with a tour company. What a surprise. Amazing variety and portions of food and great quality. Highly recommended.
Lewis T: Come here for traditional Lebanese food. Wide choice and reasonable prices. Labneh was delicious as was the lamb kofte. Nice chat with owner and his son!
Lewis T: Great choice of cold and hot mezze, at reasonable prices compared to other places. Friendly service too. Be aware of high amount of smokers if seated outdoors (I don't like cigarette smoke).
Lebanese Restaurant · Mar Mikhael · 25 tips and reviews
Lewis T: Hidden out in the east of Beirut is this gorgeous space. Very welcoming and friendly. Take a seat, grab a plate and fill up with all the local cuisine you have been hunting for across Beirut. $33 each
Lewis T: Food portions are big but rather bland and not amazing, prices are in line with many others. The black scabbard fillets were good. Calamari so-so. Chocolate mousse was amazing, leave room for that!
