The bobotie (meatloaf) from the South African place is amazing! Impressive array of food vendors (huge number of dessert options, some vegan and/or gluten free). Very fair prices.
CompassMay 15, 2014What it lacks in the airtight hipster curation you’ll find in Brooklyn and downtown Manhattan, it makes up for with homespun charm and truly local vendors you won’t find outside of LIC.
The market has more vendors during the warmer seasons when it's held outside compared to when they have it indoors. Overall, nice way to check out funky things and eat yummy food

Grab some grub from a selection of local LIC vendors, and don't forget to wash it down with a brew from the Rockaway Brewing Company, located just across the street from the entrance
Try the olde fashioned kettle corn. It's amazing. They have local boylan sodas too, black cherry is the way to go!!
Look for the khao man gai booth. Thai Street food made up of an Amazing chicken and rice dish with a side of broth. I get cravings for it. Seriously.
You gotta check out the Seoul Pancake booth. Everything there is great, but especially bacon & cheese one! If you want to eat some paleo-vegan-soy-free-gluten-free non-sense, that's the place to go !- I was totally sleeping on this last time, but the cod roll w/ spicy sauce from Corner Fish Market is stellar.

Make sure you get a LARGE brisket sandwich from Butcher Bar or else you'll be sad.
