Chemical depilatories are simple, painless, & readily available. The most widely used varieties include mercaptans & 2% to 10% thioglycolates mixed w/ 2% to 6% of either naoh or caoh.

Depilatory hair removal creams are a second most popular form of depilatory hair removal. Depilatory cream contains two chemicals, which when combined, break down the keratin fibers & dissolve the hair just below the skin surface.

We apply a layer of depilatory cream over the hair, leave for 3 to 15 minutes, depending on the skin type, hair amount & thickness of hair, & then scrape or wipe off along w/ the hair. We never apply a depilatory cream to an area that has cuts, scratches or any other wounds

How Our Treatment Differs From Electrolysis & Laser Hair Removal.

Electrolysis is a much slower process. With electrolysis, a needle is actually inserted into each hair follicle. Once inserted, an electric shock burns the follicle to retard growth. Pulsed light hair reduction treatments only use intense pulsed light energy. This unique process is relatively painless & unlike the laser hair removal process, pulsed light works equally well on most skin pigmentation without removing any of the pigment.

The Treatment Is Painless & There Is No Down Time!

After your pulsed light session, the treated area is cleansed & you can immediately return to your normal activities. Your technician may recommend that you use a specially formulated skin care product line or may recommend a skin care regimen especially formulated for your skin type to help you maintain your results.
