- Ronel UysApril 8, 2014If u stay in bldg 3 or 4 self@parking is better than valet. Your car is underground and closer for quick access and it's $18 versus $32 - which covers the cocktail you are buying quite nicely :))
- Ayman GhozaizAugust 28, 2017Great place for family or couple very nice quite and great view over bay and a lot of activities for kids during the daylight
- Krisshundra BrightJune 7, 2014Take advantage of the resort fee at the hotel . Most hotels and resorts offer nickel and dime you for everything. Also ask for Gordi and Travis at the concierge desk . They are the best .Upvoted Aug 20
- Ayman GhozaizAugust 28, 2017Very nice and great place for family kids with activities all day and couple
- Kristi NavarreFebruary 25, 2016Had an absolutely wonderful 3 day stay. Food at The Market was super fresh and reasonably priced. Spa staff great and wonderfully helpful. Bayside room super large, great view and wonderfully quiet.
- Cindi FleischliAugust 11, 2011Great rooms. Comfortable beds, front desk staff very friendly and the restaurant has great yogurt smoothies. I would come back in a heartbeat. A little cold this week though.
- Montaha HidefiDecember 16, 2015one of the best hotels in the usa, 5-star service in every single corner, the view from the terraces are just amazing
- Benjamin SzwedaApril 23, 2015For access to the beach across the street from hotel walk towards gated entrance and find path off to right. Follow tunnel. Or take golf cart from lobby.
- Jen CJuly 12, 2014For the price you pay, how I wish the receptionists would be friendly! Pls note that bec I'm brown that doesn't mean you can't be nice or friendly to me
- James NellisJanuary 30, 2014Go to the market in the front and ask for a vegan sandwich. It was off the menu but amazing!!
- Andrew SunOctober 10, 2010Bring a bath bomb. The bath tub here is awesome. Great view from the balcony too. Food here is ok and pricey. So take the free shuttle and have dinner in Coronado.
- M SalvateraDecember 26, 2011Ask for the Spa Director Melissa Chafkar she will guide you in choosing the best spa combination to suite you! You'll be treated like royalty!
- Check out the selection of cigars in the lobby bar. Small but something for every year taste. Priced at what you'd expect at a hotel bar.
- Andrea NewlandJune 21, 2014Still prefer this hotel! Stayed at The Marriott this visit wish I hadn't water pressure in shower was off and food overpriced at Marriott and a bit loud. Love how secluded Loews is .
- If You haven't been to Mistral you are missing out! Must have the mushroom ravioli deliciousness!
- Way too dog friendly. Dogs in restaurants, barking at each other in lobby, and urinating in hallway. Not a dog hater by any stretch, but there are too many dogs for a relaxing weekend away!
- Heri HernandezSeptember 7, 2011Great happy hour from 5-6pm daily. Great view of the San Diego skyline and across from Silver Strand Beach.
- Steve JSeptember 27, 2010nice pool/hot tub. great for families - freebies for your baby. and they allow dogs. coronado is nice. this is a little out-of-the-way though.
- Joe CurrySeptember 11, 2013The hotel Internet is only slightly better than a 56K dial up connection so not ideal for doing work at a conference.
- Try paddleboarding at the marina. only 20 bucks for an hour which is more than enough.
- LifeIcing.com Plays well with others...selectively!August 16, 2013Need somewhere quiet for a call? Use the bar on 2nd floor!
- On rainy days, check in with the kids club. It might be free and open for parent supervision.
- Mark KeeneySeptember 11, 2012If the wind is up go sailing - Catalina 14's/21's for rent - pretty cool
- Missie De Leeuw-BonoDecember 13, 2009One of the BEST Champagne Brunches in San Diego. Plus you can hit the pool right after...shhhhhh :)
- Ask for Cody at the front desk. He has excellent customer service.
- Jen CJuly 13, 2014Smelly pillows in our room. They sent us to the pet friendly bldg but we didn't request for it. Asked for new pillows and it's still smelly!!! Pricey hotel and smelly dirty beds
- Erik BrownJune 8, 2012They nickel & dime you with extra charges on Wi-Fi and gym usage, but the room rates are extremely low. I guess that's fair.
- Sally ChurchJanuary 13, 2010Take the free hotel shuttle bus to Coronado & choose from many nice restaurants there
- Not an all-inclusive resort. No DVD player or microwave, in room. Wifi, gym, tennis, and parking is an extra daily fee.
