Love this airport...never takes more than 20 min to get thru security. Small and nice.
Jason LederfineNovember 13, 2011I'll pay more to fly in and out of here. If renting a car priceline can get you one for 1/3 the price. From check in to past security was less then 10 minutes. Long walk from plane to baggage claim.
Security line is so much faster! New upgrades make the place look great.
Be sure to eat prior to arriving or bring food with you, the food choices are limited.
From LGB to Disneyland, it's a $52 cab ride. (Paradise Pier Hotel)

Quickest airport in the West! Love flying out of here.
Very small airport but awesome to deal with compared to LAX. Only an hour flight to Oakland. jetBlue is amazing!
Much easier to fly in and out of LA from here. TSA checkpoint was a breeze

There's a self checkin kiosk near the entrance to the security line that is almost never used.

breakfast at the restaurant in the airport (upstairs) is quite good. quality, traditional American faire.

I love LGB! Small airport, short lines. Food choices are limited though.
Small airport but great for Jet Blue flights.... Subtle taste of Cali.
