- Allison FrenchJune 21, 2016My favorite place in New England - to stay overnight, to explore, to drink, AND to eat. It is like stepping back in time. If you have an appreciation for history, Longfellow's is immersive & special.
- Madlyn FafardJuly 14, 2018Great food , wonderful for an overnight in the country. Weddings are fabulous, especially in the tent ! You will love a taste of the past .
- Elizabeth BursteinOctober 11, 2021Amazing prime rib, butternut squash, maple old fashioned, spinach artichoke app, loved the punch. Enjoyed bite of bradys indian pudding.
- huskyboiDecember 15, 2015Beautiful venue with amazing food. Went here for an event and was impressed with the food and staff.
- LitSciJuly 8, 2017Time travel to colonial days. Old Tavern with coo-woo cocktail and a rum-ale punch. The inn is also a museum, with rooms of antiques.
- Steve L.November 23, 2014Had an amazing dinner here last night: Roast half duckling w/ Orange sauce and dried cranberries; the skin was perfectly crispy. Ashley, our waitress, was awesome.
- Always great & beautiful location-oldest still operating inn in North America. Try their "coo woo," (first drink in the Colonies-ginger brandy & rum). Turkey, chicken pot pie & NE dishes are great!
- Craig LNovember 18, 2013Beautiful historic inn. Make sure to spend some time in the tavern--the oldest part of the inn
- Jay SpinnatoAugust 17, 2016One of my very favorite places to stop ... So much history .. Friendly service and great food 😊
- Brian SApril 3, 2023You can watch the Sons of the American Revolution Col. Henry Knox Color Guard practice here on weekends in the spring.
- Sara FlemingDecember 27, 2011Try the Coow Woow -- a cocktail recipe dating from 1600s. But be warned it's very strong: rum and ginger brandy. (The mulled apple cider was more my speed.)
- Allison FrenchJuly 11, 2018One of my favorite places anywhere to dine and stay. Feels so immersed in history.
- Dimitris SpiliakosJanuary 25, 2015For an authentic "colonial" experience with consistently good food and excellent service, don't miss out on this place.
- Great classic delicious food for breakfast or dinner, the corn muffins in the bread basket are delicious!

- Monica FlanneryJuly 13, 2012We found the secret drawer and the treasure in room 9! Did you? If so, what did you leave? :-)
- Bill BlairSeptember 9, 2011Lovely place to stay. Be sure to read Longfellow's Tales Of The Wayside Inn
- Erich !September 12, 2010the menu says they serve Wispride with their crackers but the waitress pointed to it and said it was 'homemade cheese' ?!?!? If youre going to make something up, dont choose a thing easily disproven!
