- CarolineNovember 9, 2014Something different and unique, which is a great addition to the neighborhood. The cocktail list is creative, and the bartender is awesome. There's another bar downstairs with trivia and live music.
- Dan LamMarch 8, 2015Come here in a group, great for birthday parties or any other special occasions. Make sure to book a reservation for group events a week in advance. There's even karaoke!
- Joe M.August 23, 2014One of the best new bars on the City. The cocktails are pricey but taste great. It will have a full kitchen too when it has its official opening this fall.
- Staff PicksSeptember 5, 2014Head to Lovecraft, the upstairs is a bar-restaurant with fun cocktails and an Italian-leaning food menu while downstairs is a stage where jazz bands and nouveau-Balkan groups will play. Read more
- Nicholas KSeptember 10, 2014Infusions are all vodka. Cocktail list has 6 drinks- 3 anise liquor & 3 non. This should not be considered as a destination when looking for a sophisticated cocktail. Apologies for the snobbery.
- John DuarteFebruary 26, 2015Interesting vodka infusions. I had a carrot chai vodka which was tasty. However, cocktail menu is lackluster. Definitely need to design some drinks to incorporate these wonderful vodkas.
- Mo GoodmanSeptember 10, 2016Happy hour from 4-7pm all week. 3$ off all cocktails, the Georgia Storm is strong and delicious
- I MSeptember 10, 2014Proclaims "absinthe cocktails!" on their sign, yet stocks only Absente, a crappy absinthe-flavored liquor & has only 3 unimaginative such "cocktails" on the menu. Blank stare when asked for the list.
- The absinth cocktail was really good. Try the champagne and absinth or London fog.
- Kien NguyenJune 19, 2015Good cocktails and chill vibe. Go to the basement for a totally interesting/different vibe
- annMarch 1, 2015The Jules Verne decor is *almost* there, but the lights are up high, the bartender was humorless and chat, and the blah cocktail list felt like an opportunity missed.
- Jeffrey KaoJune 24, 2015Troy is a cool guy. There also tends to be a lot of weird things going on in the basement.
- Emily RoyJanuary 12, 2016Inexpensive brunch entrees ($10-15) and a $15 unlimited drink option = yum!
- CBS New YorkJuly 7, 2015They're serving a special cocktail called The Clementini during NYC Cocktail Week (July 13th through the 17th). Read more
- Johann LloydAugust 21, 2016Good Absinthe cocktails, but the others are poor at best. Food is good though. Excellent atmosphere and decor.
- Ari ShahdadiAugust 21, 2014The music is awful and the lighting is nowhere near dark enough. Never seen this many wannabe poser nerds anywhere else in NYC. The real nerds go to metal bars I guess.
