Vegetarian heaven - best veg restaurant in LDN

Cat: Hummus and their various lebanese dishes at the cafe (or the restaurants) will leave you wishing you have a bigger stomach!

Cat: The restaurant is situated next to the various stalls on the first floor. Causal settings, great food, although the menu isn't as extensive as the one in Shoreditch, the food tastes great!

Cat: Gourmet supermarket with everything you need, plus more! Check out the beans/ rice/ nuts section where you can bag it by weight. They do hot and cold take away food as well.

Cat: Not often do you find a veg restaurant that is trendy, great decor and offer fantastic drinks. Here you pay for the weight of your plate at the buffet. Restaurant grade food! Family/ kids friendly

Cat: A better reincarnation of Vita-Organic on Wardour street (now called Vitao), this is a more spacious location, still with the great selection of food and drinks on offer. They do take away as well.

Cat: Simply irresistible salads, quiches (contains dairy), veggie breakfast and cakes! This little cafe serves up awesome food. My favourite place in Blackheath.

Cat: Fusion food with surprising combination of produces and flavours, Experimental and be prepared to be blown away. (Let them know in advance you are vegetarian as the menu is set on the day)

Cat: Down under chef gets is right with great choices for vegetarians and no dull moments at all.

Cat: This is in fact an Italian restaurant, which serves great fresh pasta (even if they dont have a veg version you can just ask for a tomato and basil version). Try the burratta salad, its to die for.

Matt Owen: If it's too busy, sneak out the back of the veggie tea room - there's a huge, covered garden area that hardly ever has anyone in it.

Ryan Szanyi: Check out the amazing Persian food stall "Black Lime" for saffron chicken, stuffed dates, wraps, and lentil stew! Great colours and flavours!

Alexis: One of my favourite places in the area: really good food at a reasonable price (dinner cost less than £20 pp for a main course, dessert, and a glass of wine).
