They've "renovated" but this non-modern marvel never should've replaced the Penn Station that preceded it. For basketball and hockey, it's the most overpriced arena experience in the nation.

The acoustics were great for concerts. The staff, however, are very aggressive. Pack lots of patience because it will be tested.

recently have been going over pictures captured @ The Garden in 2010. For large scale concerts,Id recommend sections A-F, J the most. For basketball,Id recommend the 1-15row from courtside or sky box.

It may seem strange but they have good toilets up in the higher stands - splash free. Other stadiums and bars could take note.

The big arena feels like history when you announce a boxing match there. You can almost feel the ghosts of people like Sugar Ray Robinson, Joe Louis, Rocky Marciano and great announcer Don Dunphy.
