The Upper East Side has a new spot that offers 120 seats, a coffee bar, & a menu with seasonal lunch items like heirloom tomato salad, panzanella, & braised lamb casserole or roasted chicken. Read more

Good and nice food. You won't go wrong with the French onion soup. I think it is over staffed and some of the waiters just walk around. Definitely a place to try on the UES. Haven't try the bakery yet

Bread is amazing, the baguette is maybe the best I've had in NYC. Pastries are much sweeter than at their locations in France, and are made in New Jersey and trucked in.

Cute cafe with high-end foods at reasonable prices! We came for a late lunch, so place was empty and staff was very quick.... chicken and quinoa salad was more chicken salady, not so much quinoa!!!

coffee baristas are perfection! Breads & viennoiseries adequate. Patisseries however disappointing. On the UES for casual French this is it. In France I would never set foot in a Kayser or Paul!!

A perfect stop for a quick bite or to pick up bread and sweets for home. Perfect for a quick mid morning breakfast as well.

Really nice brunch, much better than you might expect at a chain. Les Tartines are a nice size.

I really wish they employed people who speak a little French so they can take the order without having to point and spell

Very slow service (waitress was more concerned about chatting with a co-worker) so we had to ask for coffee refills several times. Food was delicious. Next time we will probably just come for dessert.

The eggs and tartines shouldn’t be missed. The menu includes eggs with avocado, feta, and red onions on quinoa bread; and a casserole of smoked salmon, asparagus, eggs, ricotta, capers, and red onions Read more

The food is good. The service is slow. All white clientele and was amusing to watch a couple of ladies complain their whole way through their meal.

I expected more based on the UES opinion of this place. However the bakery is good and they are usually over staffed so there's very little wait.

Buy 2 dozen croissants. Go home and stick them in a pillowcase and rest your weary head on them. Every morning, eat one when you wake up. When you run out, get more.
