- This place defines the neighborhood: old folks drinking coffee, little kids picking at pancakes, youth soccer teams enjoying the post-game, young couples shaking off the night before. Get a milkshake.
- GREAT diner. A little more expensive, sure, but the food is on point, with a lot of ingredients sourced locally. It's been in biz since 1945 and the family that owns it is lovely!
- Marc CohenDecember 18, 2016My goto breakfast/brunch diner in the area. Pricey but price point is justified by the service and quality. I'm a fan of eggs benedict, chicken salad melt, any waffle/pancake platter off brunch menu.
- Love the egg Benedict, some times I get it with turkey bacon and just as good. The waffle is so good!
- Get their chicken soup all the way with a matzo ball. So much chicken and veggies!
- Jason BrewAugust 30, 2015Really good upper east side diner. This was my go to takeout option when I lived in the area
- Delicious burgers and waffle fries! Less expensive than most diners in the area.
- Mike ShermanSeptember 4, 2016Food varies from good to OK, but the waiters all wear ties so you feel classy. Sit in the back room, main room's bright fluorescent lights are intense.
- Crystal FerreiroFebruary 7, 2016The Challah French toast was amazing! I added chocolate chips to mine, with their 100% maple syrup.
- Try not to lock yourself in and order the same thing every time because it's amazing. There are lots of amazing things on the menu.
- Best diner on the UES. Solid staples: eggs, home fries, wraps, etc. Great service & staff, too.
- Mustafa Al NiamaMarch 30, 2014We ordered deserts, we didn't know it was gonna be enough for my entires building! Both Banana Split and Chocolate Cheesecake are heavenly
- Brunch. Eggs Benedict to french toast and everything in between; worth it for the food and atmosphere.
- Kaitlyn PezikMay 10, 2015my go-to diner on the UES! food is so overpriced for a diner, but the service is quick and the food is great!
- Alex ClausenMarch 20, 2016Artisan French toast, more a dessert or cake then a breakfast meal. But delicious
- $4.50 mimosas with fresh squeezed OJ are available on weekends. Pair with a fresh fried egg sandwich for a quick steal.
- Amy RobertsonMarch 17, 2016Classic diner with solid breakfast--soda bread French toast was quite satisfying

- Judith O.January 17, 2012One of my favorite diners. Irish French toast with cannoli cream filling & bacon? Yum.
- Amaury SanchezSeptember 15, 2012Best kept secret, the cheese cakes they sell are delivered from Juniors!!
- Debra PadulaNovember 13, 2010Favorite diner of all time. Love the souvlaki platter and the roasted chicken dinner.
- Meghan KelleherSeptember 2, 2011The specials are always very good! Also, try some of their Greek specials
- Don't let them seat you by the door. The stroller set will continually whack you in the head! "Sorry" "sorry" - yeah right, stupid breeders.
- Technically they don't have fried chicken and waffles, but they really do. It was good.
- Always substitute french fries with sweet potato fries. Couple bucks extra, but it's worth it.
