- Catherine ZDecember 26, 2012Clean hotel w/ hip decor and a gracious staff. We had several problems with the heat, water, etc. For the price and location, though, it was overall a great deal and we would return
- Nice boutique hotel. Clean, comfortable beds, attentive Nd professional staff. Rooms are typical NYC size - small as compared to other cities. I enjoyed my stay..
- Talia FriedmanAugust 6, 2012Yes NYC sized rooms. I had a window facing inside and it was quiet. Beds very comfy. Clean. The person complaining about the heat must not have known to put her key in to turn on the aircon!
- Kyla-Emman NarvaezJanuary 10, 2013Inexpensive price, clean room, a little small but what do you expect for such a bargain? The only problem I had was that the water kept turning hot and then cold continuously. Would stay here again!
- GiacsonOctober 25, 2019Small hotel but quite new and ideal for short stays if you are alone in the city. Small rooms but good service, 2 bottle of water a day and generally clean
- Joe DustinJanuary 6, 2011There is a secret lounge downstairs here behind the elevators. It's really nice and unknown - very chic. They have these VIP tables tucked away In the back that are very.....private.
- Timo LuegeFebruary 15, 2012If you pay for the wifi, you can only connect 1 device with that password. If you point this out to reception you can get complimentary access for your whole stay.
- Danny G.March 18, 2011Nice place. Don't know why it gets so much heat. Service and cleanliness is good. Rooms are tiny, but does that really matter unless you plan on spending your entire trip/vacation indoors?
- The '07' room line is a corner unit. Great size and light - but you do hear Third avenue traffic.
- Greg VoakesJanuary 26, 2012Everyone complaining about this hotel has obviously never stayed at a Holiday Inn, it's a nice place in a quieter area.

- Amazing lounge indoor and outdoor on the 10th floor. Great service too!
- Christopher PaigeFebruary 18, 2013Small room, big interior design, very cozy, very midtown Manhattan... extremely pleased.
- Hotel TonightDecember 12, 2011'Inoteca's small plates and mixologist-approved cocktails attract as many locals as guests.
- Jessica B.May 24, 2011Nice hotel. Room was an acceptable size, clean, and pleasant front desk. I'll stay here again on business.
- Peter ParkerMarch 5, 2012Rooftop deck makes a great starting point for web-swinging around Gramercy Park
- Diego RufoApril 5, 2011The Marcel at Gramercy brings urban chic to the historic Gramercy Park neighbourhood of the city. Read more
- Maddie BradyMay 30, 2012Holy small rooms and shower curtain in the middle of the bathroom that gets everything wet.
- Steve RaderJune 23, 2014Don't try to check in early. Here on business, hotel seemed dead. Wouldn't check us in. They could use a reminder they are in the hospitality business.
- BarceJanuary 25, 2010Be sure to get a room with a window with a streetview because the windowless rooms are to close to the loud central heating.
- Glen PickensJune 17, 2011This is a boutique hotel. Very clean, but few amenities. The rooms are quite small.
- DJ CapobiancoNovember 1, 2014Solid choice, but poor nights sleep because of a crappy HVAC system and a hard mattress.
- Yvette PFebruary 24, 2012Do not stay here. The hearing and cooling systems in the rooms make crashing sounds that wake you up.
- Michael BennettMay 16, 2010Make sure u coordinate reservations and double check cc info. Reservations and The front desk don't communicate. It's a mess. Juan the manager at the front desk is their saving grace!!
- Sarah SchlengerMay 15, 2019Terrible design. Very out of style. Overwhelming scent / perfume in lobby and extremely poor bathroom lighting. Would not recommended.
- Small but clean and now have both t brush and t paste
- 👣Peter P ™May 13, 2014They charge 50usd for storage of packages and tell you afterwards. Ridiculous!
- Wow. This is probably one of the worst hotels I've ever experienced in my 25 years of global travel. Dont waste your money by staying here. I'd rather spend the same amount of $ for a worse hotel!
- Cathleen RyanNovember 3, 2010Awful experience here so far. I'm 4 hours into my stay, on my 2nd room. Finally have a heater but lost precious square footage. And there wasn't much to lose.
- Absolutely horrible. I requested a toothbrush and toothpaste and they told me they would bring a toothbrush but the toothpaste would not be possible
- Lorraine SpeaMarch 5, 2016Le faltan algunas reparaciones, supongo que tiene poco tiempo el hotel en ese edificio pero aun así da un ambiente muy agradable y femenino
