Known for being home to the world's first frozen margarita machine and they are GOOD. Like on the rocks more? Try their Fire & Ice. The queso mariano is a must and the flautas are my go-to.

I had the Saltillo and my boyfriend had the Mendez. Both were fantastic and large portions. Great service and tasty margaritas. Will definitely return!

Mariano Martinez invented the Frozen Margarita here in 1971 as a solution to the problem of inconsistency in the preparation of margaritas among his bartenders.

Gringo Enchiladas are great. This is different then most texmex, they use a tomatoe base on top of the enchiladas and a good mix of sautéed veggies. You'll love it.

My Mariano favorites are the brisket tacos and the beef fajitas. Wash 'em down with a Texas Top Shelf margarita and you'll be a happy Texan.  You'll also be back for another "go" of it.

The atmosphere is family-friendly, the service is great. Don't get the fish tacos. I could have saved the $13 and put fish sticks on tortillas at home.

It's gotten more expensive... Often too expensive for me... But the food is still great! Go go the fajitas. Stay for the dark salsa.
