Japanese Restaurant · Hammersborg · 61 tips and reviews
Marius Østby: One of a kind in Oslo this place brings a bit of Japan to Norway in the form of a proper japanese gastro-pub. Kirin on tap, sake and plum wine. Delicious food. No reservations, gets crowded fast.
Marius Østby: Absolutely delightful coctails! Nice interior. Only drawback is poor acoustics - if the place is packed it's hard to keep a conversation going. Great place to start an evening.
Marius Østby: This place is run by the son of the owner of Mother India, which is a keen favorite of mine. This place is great as well. I'd say it's a more modern approach to the indian cuisine. Worth a stop.

Asian Restaurant · Uranienborg · 3 tips and reviews
Marius Østby: Absolutely everything will be good here - but the tempura salad is stellar. You'll get classic sushi as well as creative dishes - like tenderloin maki (pic enclosed). This place is a hidden gem!
Marius Østby: Old school «pølsebu», last of its kind in Oslo, but still going strong. High end hot dogs with high meat content, toppings galore and homemade ketchup and mustard to boot - you want tradition? Here!
Marius Østby: Truckers and craftsmen congregate here for lunch, and it's easy to see why - possibly the widest selection of hot dogs in town, and very solid breakfast/brunch dishes. Solid meals and low prices.
