At one point during the tour the guides flip the lights off for a few minutes, the darkest dark you will ever experience. Also do not watch the movie The Descent before touring the cave.

Exploring the cave is an Incredible experience! Tour the very sites that influenced Mark Twain to include the cave in the Adventures of Tom Sawyer. This is a must-see when passing through Hannibal!

Go thru the Mark Twain cave first, then do the Cameron caves. Sean & Lairyn are great guides!
