Super informative and well displayed collection of artifacts from the Mary Rose; the timbers of the ship itself care displayed in a funky modern gallery with a sound/show every 7 mins projected on it.
The past, present, and future of this unique reservationeffort is truly astounding. There's return value in knowing you'll have different experiences when you come back as the project progresses.
Museum was much better than when I visited as a kid. A lot of good work and hard effort has gone into presenting the Mary Rose and her artefacts in an informative and fun way. #Vasa4Life though ;P
We had a 12.30 slot and the start of the tour was very busy. When we came out at 1.45ish, there appeared to be almost no-one going in. Late lunchtime might be the optimal slot.
Home of the Mary Rose, flagship of Henry VIII which sank off the South Coast of England in 1545, and now lives in a state-of-the-art Museum in Portsmouth
