Quite a long walk from Istitklal. I love how they organized this museum. Most of the collections encased in the glass boxes are a mix of elements, pictures and videos. Its very creative.

Amazing.It's no matter that you read the book or not. Just go there and see the visualized story chapters in place that first person of book just lived and died there with his collection.

For foreign visitors:You dont have to read the novel before coming to museum but it is better for you to take audio guide in order to feel the imagination of novel and soul of Turkish social history.

Unassuming, and almost uninviting from the outside, this is not to be missed. Excellently curated, it provides and audio narrative to accompany a visual curiosity that draws you from box to box.

Bring the book with you and come in for free. 17 TL instead of 25 if you show your museum pass. Using audio guide is helpful, but it's better to read the book first. Wonderful retrospective of 60-70s!

Even if you didn't read the book there is a good collection of retro items, such as household appliances. Entrance is from side street: Dalgiç Ck. Reduced price if you have museum pass.

You NEED to use the audio guide. It is not a supplement, it is an integral aspect to each box (piece of the museum).

“masumiyet müzesi” bir kitap ne kadar çok dilde basılmış. 58 dile yayınlanmış. 1897 yapımı üç katlı tarihi bir bina çok güzelmiş.
