Omg I love this place. The fried chicken was amazing....collard greens and jalapeno cheese grits delicious... You gotta try the grits. My next trip to Dallas I'll be right back here!!!

Love this spot! Great service and lovely neighborhood. Try the famous southern fried chicken and have a mimosa. Brunch at its best.

The fried chicken is off the chain. And I.swear if I walked back in the kitchen a lil old black woman back there cooking those collard greens. But one of the.best spots to dine. Love the atmosphere.

Try the A Dallas-only menu item: chicken-fried steak and waffles @maxsdallas. - I was the best breakfast/brunch I ever had!!! Even the German beer I had was awesome

The fried chicken + waffles are awesome. But so is the Big ass shirt rub burrito. Honestly you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Good food, weak service. Try their honey-biscuit benedict made with fried chicken, eggs and japelano cream gravy. Grits are good as well.

Service is meh, but whatever you do- get fried chicken. The absolute best thing on the menu. Max and cheese is worth the calories too.

The red velvet pancakes were delicious! Definitely try the chicken and waffles. Order a bottle of champagne for the table for economical mimosas!

Make a reservation! Friday nights, Saturday nights and Sunday brunch they limit seating and you'll wait 30-40 minutes despite there being open tables. :(

Fried chicken is good like everyone said. Cheese plate was disappointing, too much bread, too little cheese. Half and half dessert is huge! The brownie half was too heavy but pudding half was awesome.
