Don't get to the airport before 4:30. The American Airlines terminal doesn't open until then!
The VIP room at J concourse isn't really what one would expect
Terminal E: the worst food ever. It feels like they don't even try. World wide cafe: not only to food is bad, but also the coffee.

To use your mobile phone to check in, turn WiFi access off. Connecting to MIA WiFi costs $4.95 for 30 minutes.
If waiting for luggage, prepare for a long wait...decent scenery tho
