When the trip to Ferndale or Royal Oak is out of the question, Downtown Wyandotte is the up and coming place to be. The slow injection of liberal youth will make this a hot spot in the future.
I really enjoyed the Bacon Onion and Gruyere quiche with the little side salad. Both the house dressing and the house hot sauce were delicious! The Motown Brown (pecan pie) was perfect for dessert!
Cool spot for a drink. The bartenders were good. I didn't catch her name, but I was really impressed with the bartender making our drinks. Totally on-point and professional.
Great service, fun menu, and the food was delicious! Good for families, small groups, or maybe even a breakfast date!
I almost feel like his qualifies as a hidden gem, but it's probably not. Diner fare gets a very trendy, modern makeover. With a full bar, great staff, and awesome food, this is a brunch must go-to!

Fishbone's never fails to deliver. Great food, full sushi menu, and tasty cocktails. I could come here for lunch and stay for dinner. They have a veteran staff which is consistently on point!
I've been here twice for cocktails and apps. Great vibe, friendly staff, potent drinks, and the food is awesome! Get the fries and roasted Brussels sprouts! Sort of culinary yin and yang!

Lose the other BBQ place who's name is synonymous with their service! Redsmoke rules! Start with an order of BBQ chips & fried pickles (yes both). Put the Michigan Cherry Molasses sauce on everything!
Stopped in for some cocktails. The club next door was hopping, but this place was dead. Not sure why though; great service, ambience, and drinks! We'll be back!

Finally got to try the food! AMAZING! I can't wait to go back. We tried the Agro Dulce Pizza, Mafalde Pasta, and Wagyu Beef Tartare. Love the small plates concept. A definite food adventure!
I'm giving The Conserva a good rating on the promise of what it COULD become. The dining area and bar is great. The menu is pretty specific with limited choices. The staff...aloof and dispassionate?
