- Colin PestingerFebruary 1, 2012If you arrive early for your flight, don't go through security yet! Go upstairs to the airport bar. Sit outside. Watch the planes take off. Way sweet unlike anything I've been able to do @ any airport

augwellJuly 24, 2013Like the other tips say, head up to the second level via the stairs and have a seat at the bar or go outside for lunch and a great view of the planes landing and taking off.

Greg PalominoMay 3, 2012One of the smallest airports in the US! Be sure to grab something to eat before u depart at the restaurant upstairs!
Parking in the lot right across from the terminal is free for the first 30 min. Great for seeing people off.
Go upstairs on the balcony and watch planes arrive and take off.

Flights to SFO from MRY are delayed 300 day a year on average. Connect elsewhere to get to and from MRY.
