The new Terminal has been opened. Still needs some finishings but finally Amman has a new world class airport.
MariusApril 9, 2013You will lose the joy to travel if you arrive to early for your flight. This is the most bureaucratic airport I've ever seen. No entrance allowed 3 hours to boarding.

You can find smoking booth near the carousel when you entry to Jordan.
Yasar ZabenJanuary 22, 2014Heading to airport on bus? it will take you at least 65 minutes.. Never believe those people if they tell you it only takes 40 min.. Btw, the new airport structure is awful, tons of ugly concrete..
It's Definitely better than the old airport but the duty free is very small and doesn't provide a big selection of products.

Veronica I. NogueiraNovember 3, 2012Crown lounge is quite good except by food (poor variety) and chair lounges of quiet room are pretty uncomfortable if you need a rest. Cleaning and services are ok.
Much better than the old terminal BUT very unorganised .

New terminal not bad, free WiFi, smooth sailing in and out.
I love this Airport.. Makes you feel home even when ur leaving

In Crown Lounge in new terminal food is only to the right as you get out of the lift.
