    A great place for families and kids to spend the day exploring. The only thing that would make this place perfect is if there weren't any families or kids.

    Remember, you can't just go to the Butterfly Garden, 3D Theater, or special exhibts (I.e. Pompeii) without buying an Exhibt Hall ticket!!

    Rocketships, planes, dinosaurs, animals, maths, moleculs, this place is awesome! Spend a day is still not enough. Cool place for kids!

    I wouldn't say give it a miss entirely, but if you're heading to New York then don't bother 'cause the contents of this museum pale in comparison to the behemoth Museum of Natural History there.

    Okay, the best things to do at the Sience Museum are: seeing a "Live Animal" performance at the science live stage in the Green Wing, going to see a performance at the Theater of Electricity, in the B

    Cahners Theater is a great meeting place for a scientific film; all four of my Meetups could entirely fit inside with the seating there.

    It's not what I remember as a kid on field trips. There seem to be fewer interactive exhibits, and more words written on posters you're supposed to read. It's definitely not worth the huge cost.

    There are live tamarin monkeys on the second floor in the green wing. Be sure to get there before 4, when they go into their private quarters.

    Take the train into town. After the museum, hop the train across the street and see other parts of the city. Check for special events in advance on their web site. Read more

    Maybe there's just something wrong with me. I didn't enjoy this museum at all. Probably great in the 80's but technology has passed this place by. 3D experience? I have better 3D technology in my home
