Jessica: Best lunch in Savannah! South African food. Literally everything is good; You can't go wrong.
Jessica: Tons of shops and ateliers to explore here.
Lena: Good for wandering/exploring
Jessica: A 20 min drive from Savannah through beautiful Marshlands. Mind the speed limit/traffic laws in Tybee, they take them very seriously. Big, sandy, warm beaches.
Jessica: Doesn't have to be this tour, any ol' tour will do. Lots of history in Savannah from the Revolutionary War to the founding of the Girl Scouts to the filming of Forrest Gump.
Jessica: The 'Central Park' of Savannah. Good for laying out, relaxing, people watching, etc. Check out the Garden for the Blind, which is full of perfumy plants. (Bonus: Most people don't even know it's a thing, so it's almost always empty).
Jessica: Take a peek in this very fancy hotel. They usually have some sort of exhibition going on.
Jessica: Worth the wait (and there will be a wait), but it's the best breakfast in town!
Lena: The best brunch!
Jessica: This is the best-kept secret in Savannah, and really fun to surprise your friends with. If you stand in the middle of the 'X' and speak you'll find yourself in an echo chamber. It's a unique experience, especially with all the hustle and bustle around you and nobody has any idea that this is going on. Best not to tell the person you're with what will happen and let them experience it for themselves.
Jessica: Take the elevator at the Bohemian Hotel to the roof and enjoy the best view of the river in Savannah. Grab a drink and hang out for a while.
Lena: Cool rooftop bar with a great view.
Jessica: Just on your way in or out of Tybee Island. Good for large slices of pizza and a beer. Outdoor seating. Also surrounded by funky little island shops.
Jessica: About halfway out to Tybee, great for seafood. They have like 30 live alligators in a moat-like lagoon around the place. Don't worry, they won't bite you.
Lena: Yummy restaurant and it's right on River Street and has a beautiful view.
Lena: Casual restaurant and has it's own micro brewery. It's famous in Savannah for being "haunted!" If you don't end up going here for dinner, it's a nice place to grab a drink.
