- NanaApril 14, 2018The katsu was really good. They have all sorts of Japanese stuff. Sashimi grade salmon is next on the purchase list
- Aolani SmytheMay 4, 2013Good for great selection of fresh frab to go bento boxes / sushi/ ramen / snacks and other yummiest food . Accepts plastic oyeah. Cool Japanese place when in town.
- I love this place for everything but their shabu shabu meats, which are simply too thick and tough. Go to Marukai for them instead. Otherwise, fish, produce, and packaged goods are great here.
- Mona DAugust 16, 2016Although you can find some of the items in other stores for a much less price, I really like this store's staff, layout and the feel in general
- Authentic Japanese foods. Big selection of sashimiand bentos. Once in a while they'll have dango which are to die for!
- Meat here is high quality and very suitable for barbecue. The size is appropriate. Love it.
- Great lunch spot! Super convenient to pick up ingredients for dinner during lunch time. Everything is fresh.
- Reallly good, cheap sushi in the deli. You can also get soba or udon noodles. The sushi rice is great, just buy some ahi tuna and you have a great lunch.
- Gnat BrainFebruary 12, 2016Get charsui (roast pork) and ramen from the fridge section for an instant ramen upgrade!
- Beef bowl with super hot miso soup only $4.50! Best lunch deal in Mountain View? Available for dinner too.
- If you want hot prepared foods (such as their pork cutlets, ramen, or udon), they start serving at 10:30am
- You *can* use this place as a grocery store, but the rest of use use it as a grab and go sushi place. Reasonable prices for restaurant quality!
- LynetteApril 16, 2010Love the to-go sushi and sashimi here. You can also just get a slab of sashimi grade fish and ask to have it sliced on the spot.
- Sometimes the hot food runs out of items on Tuesday because they get new shipments in on Wednesdays.
- Visit their sushi/sashimi section. Lots of great stuff to go.
- Great selection of some of the more exotic rice varieties, like koshihikari.
- All your Japanese cravings can mostly be found here
- Ramen here is meh. If you want good ramen, go to Santouka inside Mitsuwa.
- Grab a bento or order from the Nijiya Restaurant menu and dine in.
