Come check out Mad Mondays! Obannons has cheap liquor/shots/cocktails and a capable staff for some of the best cocktail creations in town.
1st time i've ever been here...it's wed night, apparently it's 1/2 price pints (awesome!!). Great music, mostly dkm and flogging molly which is fine by me!
Good place to relax and have a pint! Start the beer tour it you plan on drinking here frequently. Very friendly staff.
If you're not a beer fan, try an Irish Root Beer: Jameson, Bailey's, Butterscotch Schnapps, and of course Root Beer. Amazing.
James is the best bartender in town. Also, come early to avoid the douchebag frat it crowd. Karaoke night is especially bad, but it doesn't get terrible till after ten or so

Get the Bellows from New Republic Brewery. It's the only local brewery.
Might be a bit pricey, but a nice Midleton's on the rocks is a great way to celebrate a special occasion, like it being a Wednesday!- Come out for half-priced Texas Thursdays and drink our state's best on a budget!

Make sure to get a shot of Bushmill's and a pint of Guinness when you stop in.
