- Chastyn MintonJuly 9, 2015Everything. I love this beach. We've been coming her for a long time and its my favorite beach of all. Really great places and there's some fun things to do here.
- Jonathan BrandonAugust 22, 2015Wonderful beach. Real low-key for families and people that want to slow down. Fun things are close and myrtle beach is 30 min away - though we never bother
- Please take your trash with you and use the OIB trash cans on the street side. If you pick up some extra trash the sea critters will thank you.
- Go at night around 10:00pm to join thee group that watches the baby area turtles waddle from their nest in the dunes to the ocean.
- Alisa FrederickAugust 8, 2014Hmmmm! Crazy crashing surf with fine gray sand. It's not the Bahamas but with the sun, it's all good!
- my favorite beach (hometown)! hit up the concord access for more privacy or head to nice west end by the isles for cocktails on the tiki patio.
- Melissa Michaud NishanJuly 16, 2015Love this quaint NC beach! Beautiful evenings even during a storm!
- Amanda BalsterJune 27, 2011Its a new thing about the tents. We've been coming here for years and they've never had a tent rule.
- No lifeguards on beach, keep an extra watchful eye on your kids (and yourself!)
- SarahAugust 10, 2012❤ going to ocean isle beach!!! But please STAY OFF THE SAND DUNES!!! And that includes walking on them! Cuz it's illegal ! Get to beach by walkways only! Don't cut thru the sand dunes! Not cool!
- Shelly WoodwardJune 22, 2011Nice beach. Not very crowded. Could use beach access markers on the beach.
- Please take your trash to the garbage cans on street to cut down on contribution to marine debris
- No garbage cans on the beach, yet very clean; pack it in, pack it out.
- Where are the garbage cans that used to be on the beach? I'm seeing lots of trash. People can be so messy!
- Where are the garbage cans that have always been on the beach?
