If you're going to Palma, make sure you print your ticket before you come to the port and wait outside the port (on the right) to take the bus to the place where the ferry to Palma will take you.
After struggling down Las Ramblas, take a break by walking across the footbridge to the boardwalks beside the water. Find a seat and watch all the comings and goings in the port. Fascinating!
