Amy ScofieldAugust 20, 2013The new OMSI is disappointing. Prices are astronomical! Exhibits are now separate price. You can no longer bring your own food/snacks & eat in the cafeteria. You'll be asked to leave. Not worth it!
Attend OMSI After Dark. Adults only, booze allowed, and you get to play with cool science toys. Explore the museum in a child-free environment.
Weekday afternoons don't tend to be very crowded. Avoid weekends and holidays.

Attend an OMSI After Dark Event. Last Wednesday of every month.
If you come for OMSI After Dark, go there early at 6pm because the ticket line was HUGE at 7pm.

Stef PinnigerFebruary 25, 2013If you buy a membership, you still have to pay for everything extra (sub, planetarium, etc). $120 a year and the new exhibits are $15 each?? How many times can you walk through the same halls? 
Don't be ridiculous. OMSI is great for adults too -- just, perhaps, not for you.
