The master of all Tahoe resorts. It's pricey (unless you've got a pass) but this mountain really rocks. Amazing views, long runs and long lines, but worth the wait. Be sure to hit up Granite Chief!

Some of the most interesting terrain in Tahoe plus good restaurants and bars for apres ski. Expensive but I usually buy discounted lift tickets at REI or Sports Basement.

Contrary to popular belief it is possible to barge the line at KT-22 on a powder day. Just bring a huge set of cajones and be prepared to throw elbows.

Dawn Patrol is a must do. Best day ever was 3/6/11. 21" of fresh powder, blasting face shots down Granite Chief 30 minutes before the first lift even goes up, and huge breakfast atop the mountain.
