- Brad LJune 26, 2014A great place to grab a seriously strong martini, in a quiet atmosphere, on a weekend afternoon. One of the few places in midtown that I would recommend.
- Paige COctober 7, 2018Came for an engagement party and they had a really nice back room. Fun fact: on Saturday nights there are opera singers from the Met that perform upstairs. You can listen to them sing & grab a drink.
- Saturday nights. Upstairs the opera is so magnificent; sort of like a nineteenth century salon. I am not classically educated, but I really loved the tremendous voices on display here!
- One of NYC's hidden gems for Christmas decor! Tons of tinsel and ornaments adorn this old fashioned bistro, and the food and drinks are so good you will come here year round!
- Michael TMarch 29, 2013The hitachino nest white ale is a must try here. Expensive, but not easy to find in nyc (trader joes has it too but not too many other places)
- NEIGHBORLY NOTARY NYCJanuary 6, 2013Saturday night opera is the very best live entertainment in NYC for the price. Great value with amazing talent and an overall good time. Highly recommended by me.
- Casual dining with a French flair. Roomy with fun bar space on two floors. Great for lunch and dinner.
- Shawn Ryan RandlemanAugust 1, 2023It’s blessing to reignite friendships which was lost during pandemic! Awesome venue and potential 1st Wednesday Venue
- LaDawn Penigar-MitchellApril 9, 2018Full of suits and busy after a work day but large space for groups and you can find a tasty aperol spritz here.
- Good spot for brunch, big proportion with very reasonable price including complementary mimosa and Bloody Mary.
- Elliot ChanceAugust 19, 2016Less French and more sports bar. A fairly nice atmosphere inside. The Long Island iced tea was massive and not very nice.
- Damian BayonaDecember 21, 2015Popular business lunch location in midtown. Good vibes and ambience. Food is bistro fare without flair.
- Scott EarleyNovember 10, 2015Nice place, friendly, but slow bar. If you are trying to get your drink on, it might take a long time. I would suggest pre-drinking.
- Toth EmeMarch 30, 2014Good Bar with nice piano music but the pianist doesn't know the Gloomy Sunday :(
- Kristy StaubsAugust 4, 2010I ordered moules frites in a white sauce. They gave me so many mussels I didn't know what to do. They are delicious and you should order them immediately.
- Michael Fox-RabinovitzMarch 22, 2015Absolutely inedible food across the board from appetizers to dessert. Come for a drink if you must, but avoid the food... And I rarely say that.
- Ru LuMarch 1, 2015Heard toward young professionals - definitely not stuffy. This may be my go to place for after work.
- Paula BuzzoDecember 13, 2022I came for the Christmas Decoration, which was beautiful. The food was ok! Service needs to improve.
- Ersin YumerJune 26, 2013We arrived on a week day around 5 pm. They directed us to a dinner table, at which we were not even greeted by a server for the first 15 mins. and it was even not crowded. We left without eating.
- Fiona QOctober 22, 2015Dont waste your money on the Papillon salad or Steak Tartare, both just awful. Salad overdressed wilted mess and steak tartare had absolutely no flavor at all and texture was way too mushy.
- Luigi AmayaJune 24, 2012Great Croque Madame and a decent beer selection. The service is poor. The waiters are not attentive.
- Kim Darwaza, REALTORMay 29, 2011Free range chicken with spinach was good. They have a good kids menu. Ordered two different types of red wine that were just so so.
- Breuklyn CynJanuary 10, 2013The potstickers do not have ginger or sriracha. So some false advertising there...
