- Have lived here 43 years. Any questions about the history I probably lived through it. Yes service used to be better but patrol at one time was much worse & unprofessional.Upvoted Sep 27
- Don't listen to all the naysayers. Every apartment complex has its issues, but park La Brea has far fewer than most in LA. You don't have an insane landlord or a ramshackle home. Beauty & history!
- Clearly Nyrah doesn't live here. It's a diverse community and every block is actually different. And -GASP!- it was built before the 1990's which is, in itself, amazing in Los Angeles.
- Don't listen to Candice, it's an amazing place to live and a little slice of LA history to boot!
- If going out the 6th/Ogden gate & your in line to get out, make sure to stop in the gate's path. If you don't, the gate will close and you will miss the light. The gate won't close on your car.

- If you live here take time to visit the pool. Probably the nicest thing at PLB
- I used to think the washer ate my socks and underwear, until my holiday dress went missing. Beware of laundry burglary. Passed 10pm only.
- Look for parking in the townhouses area coz the spots near towers are always taken. Demand and Supply
- You can get amazing panini sandwiches at the cute little restaurant by the gym.
- You can reserve the conference rooms behind the gym for studying or conferencing.
- Parking is incredibily hard after 7 pm during the weekdays!
