- Still nice to check out in the colder months. Santa at the treehouse, plus you can still see a lot of the animals out. Not all of course, but I was surprised in comparison to other zoos.

- Right when you come into Bank of America Big Cat Falls there is a chain link fence with a bit of vegetation against it. Look down, one of the big cats likes to laze about in that shade.

- The big snapping turtle is named Meatball. He breathes air, so if you wait long enough, he'll have to move, and that is an impressive sight indeed.

- Visit First Niagara Big Cat Falls and you just might be lucky enough to see the new African lioness Tajiri!
- Much renovation lately. Parking needs to be addressed as well as traffic flow.
- Check out the McNeil Avian Center. Many colorful birds to see there.
