- Andra ZapartanApril 9, 2015The looby has a waterfall, the pools are huge and connected by a glass tunnel & the jacuzzis offer great views over the property. Order something to eat while getting a tan by the pool. :)Upvoted Sep 23
- Lobby has a waterfall & views of the valley! Top of the Rock has amazing views while eating and there are pools all over the property (inlcuding a water slide). Level 2 with patio is the way to go!Upvoted Sep 24
- Amanda GoodmanJuly 5, 2013The pool closes at 10p. They kind of hustled everyone out. Otherwise awesome everything. Older style probably ready for renovation but very nice.Upvoted Sep 25
- Matt FerrariJune 13, 2017Resort-like amenities with beautiful pool on the Buttes. Good prices during summer in the off season.
- Neil MarucaMarch 21, 2017Beautiful gardens and grounds, architectural harmony with the environment. A special experience
- Don't want to leave the hotel for dinner? Use Uber Eats to get food delivered. Decent options available in the area
- Nicholas StylianakisNovember 15, 2017Lovely decor. Nice atmosphere. I got lost though a couple of times
- David DyckNovember 6, 2012There is free Internet in the lobby area - and you can pick it up in the pool area - ( it isn't that fast though - but it's better than paying for it in the room. $$$
- TomMarch 29, 2011Come watch free entertainment with Chuck-e-baby and the all stars perform rock-n-roll covers poolside. Don't forget to ask for the casey crusher
- Tempe TourismFebruary 14, 2011Kick back at the pool, order room service, or explore the greater Tempe area; your vacation awaits at the Buttes Tempe Resort Marriott!
- Absolutely FILTHY. Found a dead cockroach behind my nightstand. Numerous colleagues had to switch rooms due to ants crawling everywhere (my room included). Felt dirty walking barefoot on the carpet.
- Mark EastwoodJanuary 21, 2011Ok I was wrong. You have to use level 5 but can take the cave or walk up overlooking the pool to get to the top. The restaurant is on the same level as the mine tunnel.
- My favorite hotel in Tempe. Great service, great location, great atmosphere.
- Jamie LackeyNovember 16, 2010This is a nice resort. ALL of the staff was crazy nice and helpful! One of my favorite resorts in the US!
- David DyckNovember 6, 2012Don't dive into the pools. ( of course you wouldn't, so this is a joke as there are a half dozen or so signs to keep you from making this mistake )
- Great pool area and very friendly staff, but some of the prices are ridiculous. Internet's $15.98 per day, per device!
- This hotel is like a maze! Be sure to bring your hiking shoes!

- Mark EastwoodJanuary 21, 2011You don't have to go up to level 5 to get to the upper level, use the mine.
- Jon DarveauJanuary 3, 2012Beautiful grounds but the rooms themselves need some remodeling and charging for Internet? C'mon man...
- Leah ArnoldAugust 19, 2010Lee Amundson gave me the best service there! I would go back just to see her pretty face!
