Worth a visit as much for the history as the architecture. Follow it up with a visit to the Gropius House in Lincoln, MA to see a livable, family home that still meets rigorous modernist standards!

The house itself was pretty disappointing (when compared to Mies' Barcelona Pavilion). However, the grounds and underground art gallery were impressive

ガラスの家：フィリップ・ジョンソン（1949）。米建築家ジョンソンの自邸。ガラスと鉄でできた無装飾の建物は、モダニズム建築の象徴的存在になった。室内の家具はミース・ファン・デル・ローエによる。彼はこの家に住み続け、98年の生涯をここで閉じた。
