- You can't go wrong with Plowshares Coffee. They roast their own beans to perfection. Whether you go with tea, espresso, or pour over you won't be disappointed. Great selection of baked goods.Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- D. E.August 28, 2015Wow, that's an outstanding spot. Diverse delish coffee beans, smooth and tasty cortado. Try nitro if you like cold brew. And this pecan caramel thing! Jeez, the best sweet I've had in NY.
- Armelle De OliveiraOctober 6, 2019Perfect atmosphere if you need to do some work outside home - the staff is very friendly and will give you the WiFi password if you ask. And they have plugs and the best playlist !
- Jorge Díaz LargoDecember 12, 2014Croissants are freshly made, totally recommended. The staff is kind, nice and fast. Our new favorite place in the neighborhood.
- Great coffee. Awesome pour over bar. Knowledgeable staff. Great beans. What more can I say? Happy to have a great coffee place in the neighborhood.
- doesn't inspire enthusiasm but it's clearly the best coffee in the area
- inna katsFebruary 3, 2016The banana bread is incredible. Moist, flavorful, not too sweet (and half off before they close). Perfect with the chai tea.
- Andrew FurmanAugust 23, 2016Awesome cold brew coffee. Also, not much seating, but the bench out front is great.
- Great espresso drinks and scrumptuous pastries! Best in the uws!
- Matthew CaldecuttMarch 27, 2016Strong coffee prepared quickly with great pastries, including my favorite -- peanut butter cookies.
- Sameepa ShettyJanuary 7, 2015New place on the uws. Has Wi-Fi. Small. Communal table. Good for work. Coffee is strictly okay. (Joe's or even Westside coffee is better!)
- Roast their own beans and it shows. Excellent espresso and cool space.
- Great spot for thus neighborhood mired down in KFC and McDonald's locations with a much more discerning clientele.
- Hannah CastilloMarch 22, 2016This place plays amazing (classic rock) music and has tasty cheapish coffee.
- I get my bagel from Absolute, then come here for my coffee. The service is pretty clueless, but the coffee is great.
- Great coffee with local pastries and very friendly staff
- Autumn RayneJuly 23, 2018takes a bit to get your coffee but so worth it this is not your regular coffee
- Maren ElizabethFebruary 20, 2016Good service. Cozy decor. Tasty moca and croissant. Average pricing.
- Nat WelchMarch 26, 2015"where the East African beans (Ethiopia Chelelektu right now) have been phenomenal."
- Coffee is good had it there a few times not solid effort 7/10
- Andrea LJanuary 23, 2017They don't have soymilk and their lattes are subpar. Croissants are good but there's many other places in the area that sell good ones too.
