Nice wide greens for newbies, and you can find untouched powder a week after a snowfall if you know where to go.

No lines, more acreage than Squaw with people that are about the nicest you can ever meet. Take a cat ride to the top of Lightening Ridge, too!

Anthony RalloApril 8, 2012Low price heli runs from the parking lot - they drop you on a nice peak and you get a long ride into lift services areas.
Make sure you take time to chat with Dr. Dave in the ski shop. He's the best.
Powder country lets you legally go out of bounds and then you get picked up by a shuttle bus on the side of the road. Awesome!

Sanctuary is the place to be here, especially on a pow day
Awesome skiing not crowded and no lines at the lifts
Hike Cobabe Canyon and you'll always find untracked runs
